Well… beads have always been part of my life since a young girl. My mother would braid my hair and put colorful beads on the ends of my hair. That was a time in my life when I felt like I had a mother who loved me but that changed. The memory of that chapter of my life is within my collection of beads. Each one holds a special time in my life.

 My name is Monique and I am a true fanatic of beads. All kinds of beads but the artisan Uniques glass beads have their own character that I feel a bond with when I search for that bead to connect with. It holds meaning in my life like the beads I wore as a child in my hair. They can be fun, mysterious, calm, creative, happy, sad, colorful, simple and the list can go on as life goes on. I wear my beads with pride and each one holds a special spot in my heart, a story can be told by each bead and a connection of my life. Beads remind of my childhood and now as I move into the next chapter of adulthood I embrace finding new Uniques beads.
